2017 Franklin Christmas Stroll – December 9, 1–5 PM

Join us for the Annual Christmas Stroll on December 9 from 1 PM – 5 PM. 

Activities include:

10 AM- 5 PM  The Franklin Railroad and Community Museum will offer several decorated trees and new exhibits, including a running model of the Merreckville pass and station.  No charge, handicapped accessible and refreshments.

11 AM—noon  Story Hour and visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Franklin Free Library

11 AM – 3 PM  Grandma’s Pantry at the Methodist Church featuring homemade items, rummage sale, bake sale and soup and sandwich lunch.

Noon – 4 PM  Holiday Market at the fire house offering many items from local farmers and crafters. Music by Jason Starr.

1 PM – 5 PM  Holiday House Tour. Several Houses will be open for touring in an open house self-guided tour format. Experience Christmas celebrations from Victorian times through today.Maps will be on sale at the Fire House at 12:45 PM, $10.00 each, $15 per couple.

2 PM  Franklin Stage Company will screen the definitive 1951 classic film, A Christmas Carol, starring Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge. Dickens’ timeless tale is holiday cheer for the whole family. Running time: 90 minutes. Refreshments. Free admission. Donations accepted. info@franklinstagecompany.org 

4 PM – 7 PM  The Senior Class will be offering a lasagna dinner and Chinese auction of Christmas gift baskets. $8/Adult, $5/Child.

5:30 PM  Tree lighting at the park

6 PM  Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the park to greet children. From there to the fire house for free snack, craft and pictures.
